I admit I reread the prequel and all parts of this arch and I have to say, Harry had that coming. Draco has never not even once indicated a willingness to be in a romantic relationship. From that start he has been in it for the sex only.

I might be wrong here, but out of the two of them Draco has been much more upfront and honest with his wants that Harry. Writing to Narcissa and thus forcing the issue, has been wrong of Harry. Because he keeps forgetting that she might write pretty words, but her actions have had a lasting impact on Draco through his formative years and to say that she has always had her doubts about her son and that OF COURSE he is not required to marry I DOUBT that. Even if, forcing him to come out is the wrong way, if she does that, she risks damaging him psychologically even more than they all already have.

I am seldom of the opinion, that they don't belong together, but right now I think Draco needs to stand by his decision, and tell his mom exactly where to stick that invitation and that he will stay at Hogwarts if she insists.

Let Harry deal with that fallout, because here he is as much of a shit as Draco is. He just could not leave Draco alone to figure it out, he had to fuck. Congrats Potter you fucked this up.
