Malfoy's frown deepened. "I don't hate you, Po...Harry," he said. Still staring at his cup of tea, he added, "I don't suppose you can say the same about me."
Harry bit back an automatic response and chose his words with care. "I hate the situation you forced me into."
They lapsed into angry silence, drinking their tea without looking at one another.
"And if I don't capitulate?"
Harry glanced up. "Pardon?"
"If I don't want to move into the house you chose?"
Harry's shoulders tensed, but he strove to sound nonchalant. "I don't care; I'm simply giving you the option."
