Authors Notes: Title from THE DEER AND THE ARMOUR.
The stars are bright tonight, away from the city lights. Standing in the cemetery, Harry imagines he can trace the constellations of his parents though the stars. A stag, for his father, and a lily for his mother. The stars are so clear; they’re almost ringing.
Snow crunches behind him, and he turns to see Draco approaching, two steaming cups of cocoa in hand. Taking one, Harry realises that he’s cold, only to be enveloped in a Warming Charm.
“Thanks,” he says, leaning over to nudge Draco’s elbow. “I somehow always forget to.”
“That’s why you have me,” Draco says.
