"I apologize for frightening you," Draco said. He turned away, hoping Potter wouldn't notice the effect his nearness was having. Draco told himself it was hormones that caused him to respond to Potter's proximity. Perhaps he should take a child-free father's day of his own. Potter seemed more relaxed after having done so.
Draco busied himself with the kettle. "Would you care for tea?" he asked to be polite.
Potter appeared as if he might decline but then he nodded and got out two cups.
It was something normal married couples did. Too bad their marriage was far from normal.
