Draco doesn’t like the office, or the solicitor sitting across from him. He doesn’t like the parchment, or the words imprinted upon it, except for the small addition that he’s made.
“This is highly irregular,” Mr Durand says, frowning.
Draco takes a deep breath. “There’s nothing irregular about it,” he says. “It’s completely true.”
“Making changes on a whim—” the solicitor begins.
“I’ve agreed to the rest of terms,” Draco says, interrupting. “My modification is non-negotiable.”
Mr Durand grumbles, but proceeds. Draco doesn’t turn to look, but knowing that a cloaked Harry is standing in the corner gives him strength.
