Draco’s still lying in bed, the cover of a book that he’s maybe going to read in a few minutes smooth underneath his fingertips, when Harry bounds into the room, flinging himself onto the bed, bold as you please. There’s barely a hitch in his step on good days, and thinking about his recovery makes Draco smile, even as he’s annoyed at being disturbed.
“I’m bored,” Harry says, digging his chin into Draco’s ribs. “Let’s do something.”
“Go away,” Draco says, not meaning a word of it. “Go figure out your life.”
“My life is you,” Harry retorts, all cheek.
