Harry peers into the library, where Draco is scribbling away on scattered pieces of scrap paper. He’s been like this since Harry mentioned, offhand, that he likes fireworks but the display sometimes is a little too loud, a little too much like not-yet-faded memories.
They’ve already gotten to benefit from the redesigned shields on Grimmauld Place, but Draco had been mumbling under his breath as he cast the last anchor, and Harry’s not surprised to find him here now, probably reworking everything from the ground up.
It makes Harry happy, to see Draco so happy. He wants this to last.
