Summary: Harry reminds himself that Malfoy won't always be so needy.
Harry covertly made sure that Malfoy got up the stairs and to his own suite of rooms with no trouble. He remembered how awkward the late stages of pregnancy were, and he hadn't needed to navigate a staircase in his cottage. Harry felt oddly protective of his unwanted spouse these days. Malfoy seemed different now, more vulnerable. Not at all like the imperious twat who'd strong-armed Harry into marriage.
It wouldn't last, Harry knew. Once the baby was born and Malfoy recovered, he'd most likely go back to being his usual arrogant self. Harry knew better than to forget that.
