Harry put AJ down for a snooze and began pacing. He checked the time, only to see three minutes had elapsed since he'd last cast a Tempus. He reckoned a career as an Auror would have been less nerve wracking than waiting for Malfoy to come home with the baby.
When the Floo activated, Harry dashed into the parlor. Narcissa stepped through first, holding Malfoy's bag. He followed, a pink swaddled bundle in his arms. Harry took a tentative step forward, uncertain of Malfoy's mood.
Malfoy appeared wan, but he mustered a tired smile and said, "Come meet Lily Victoria."
