Narcissa ignored the interruption. “It requires mutual respect and affection. I know you are infatuated with Potter…”
Draco tried again, “We’ve been together for five years, mother!”
“But you have a responsibility, Draco, to provide an heir. You can’t allow all this,” Narcissa waved her hand in an expansive gesture, “to go to your cousin Brutus. Your father would die before he let that happen.”
“That’s rather the nature of inheritance!” Draco snapped. “However, you need not worry, Harry is pregnant.”
