Summary: Draco reflects on his meeting with Potter.
That evening, Draco indulged in a long soak in his luxurious bathtub. His body relaxed, and his mind wandered.
Draco went over his meeting with Potter once more, unable to shake the feeling he'd come out on the losing end. The notion was ridiculous, considering there hadn't been a competition to begin with, but he felt unsettled.
In a best-case scenario, Potter would have been thrilled to learn of another child to love. Worst-case, he would have reacted violently. Potter's actual reaction had been somewhere in the middle, which wasn't entirely unexpected.
Still, Draco had hoped for a better result.
