“I think... I love you,” Harry said quietly, and Draco gasped.

“Harry,” he eventually managed, helpless and shocked. “That’s… fucked up. I have treated you like shit. Hell, you have treated me really horribly, too. We act like we hardly care. How could this be love?”

Harry wrung his hands. “I… know,” he finally said. “I’ve tried so hard to let go of this, Draco. It’s so… unhealthy.”

“Granger,” Draco said, flat and annoyed.

“Yes, that’s her word, Draco, but she was right and you know it. You just said the same thing yourself in different words!”

“Yeah,” Draco sighed.

Draco is right, this is not love. It is lust at its best. If Harry loved Draco he would let go of him and let him grow into his own, to figure out how to be comfortable with being gay and wanting a family at the same time. Hell they are barely 18! nobody finds their life partner at that age - and even if they do they need time apart to be sure. I said it again and again, maybe a couple years apart would do both of them good.

And Hermione might be right - still doesn't mean I like her as a character ;) she should take care of her own strange love life.
