well not that Narcissa would not have deserved a taste of her own medicine ;) but I understand her cowardice. She probably thinks Draco would not hesitate to tell her exactly what he feels. She didn't hold back either ;)
And yeah I have seen it in older friends when the parents have a new partner. It is never easy.
But Draco has Harry and Narcissa can stay in South Africa forever for all I care ;)
