Harry sat up and turned on the bedside lamp. If Malfoy had come to his door for something so frivolous as to resume their earlier conversation, he was going to murder him.

"Come in," Harry snapped.

Malfoy poked his head in the door. "Potter, my mum is ill, and I'm just going to pack a few items and return to the manor to care for her."

Harry's stomach dropped. "Won't that put you in danger?"

"No, it's residual effects from something she suffered during the...past," Malfoy replied.

"Do you need any help?"

"A visit from AJ tomorrow might cheer her."
