Once he’d taken care of his gear and put on comfortable clothes, Harry rang Hermione. It was late enough in the afternoon that he thought she wouldn’t mind an interruption. He also knew, if she didn’t have time to talk, she’d let it go to voicemail.
Hermione was impressed with Harry’s plans for helping Draco get back in touch with Blaise and Pansy. “You still have Gringott’s Muggle-linked credit card, right?” she asked. “Call the shop and have two mobiles shipped right to my house. Muggles make the no contact stuff really easy.”
“Much easier than wizards, clearly,” Harry agreed.

Hermione recommended a store where she’d gotten good service, and Harry called straightaway, not sure when they closed for the day.
“I need mobile phones for my elderly Gran and her older sister so they can stay in touch without breaking quarantine,” he invented. “Neither of them knows a single blo-blessed thing about technology. Can you help?”
He was immediately impressed with the professional help they offered, and he let them sell him every kind of insurance, assistance and technical support they had. Since he was buying the most primitive, durable phones they sold, he figured it was only fair.

Harry managed to get through an entire meal without once letting his plans for Draco slip. He impressed himself. He didn’t usually have a good poker face.
Speaking of which…. “I hear Sprout does a poker night. Think we could get invited if we wanted to join?”
“Oh, hell no,” Draco said, leaning away from the dinner table, now emptied of at least half the faculty and staff. “I’m not playing a new game against the most competitive man I’ve ever met. Fuck that, Potter. I only compete against you at things I’m already good at.”
Harry felt himself blush.
