Harry held himself very still for a moment. Just fly? Together? Like a date? he thought, hoping his surprise was hidden well enough for Draco to miss it. Luckily, Draco seemed to be half asleep already.
“I’d like that,” Harry intentionally murmured, as though his heart wasn’t suddenly rabbiting in his chest.
“Good,” Draco said, sounding surprisingly firm. He rolled away, then reached back, pulling Harry in to spoon him warmly. “Because it’ll be fun. Just you ‘n me, beautiful sky, warm summer day. Nice. But first, we sleep.”
“Of course,” Harry agreed, amused, shocked and relieved. “First, we sleep.”

Voldemort reached out, cruel, sneering, wand raised and already that sickly green light was smashing into him; shocking Harry backward and he jerked awake, sudden, in the dark.
Draco slept on, breathing deep and easy.
They were in Harry’s teacher’s quarters, at Hogwarts. He was twenty-seven years old. Voldemort was nearly ten years gone. The room was cool, quiet and familiar.
Just a nightmare.
Harry rolled onto his back and took deep, controlled breaths, counting them as he breathed in and out. Fucking nightmares. This was a large part of why he rarely spent the night next to another man.
