Draco was having difficulty reconciling what his mother was saying about Pansy and his lifetime of friendship with her. "I don't believe it," he said flatly. "How reputable is this source of yours? Perhaps someone was simply inspired to cause trouble."
"My source provided a memory I was able to view in my Pensieve," his mother responded tartly. "Miss Parkinson quite obviously added something to your cup when you were distracted."
Draco was about to refute the allegation once more when he recalled how Pansy had claimed to see Millie. Had she truly seized the opportunity to dose his tea?
