“So, how’s it going without Quidditch?” Neville asks after they’re back in the house, sitting in the breakfast room. It’s not breakfast time, of course, but the view of the back garden is the best from here.
Harry takes a biscuit, rolling it along its edge instead of lifting it to his mouth.
“It’s fine,” he says, and waves a hand when Neville’s brow furrows. “I’m more worried about Draco.” The biscuit slips from his fingers then, rolling across the table and saving him from Draco overhearing any further conversation as he peers into the breakfast room.
“Oh, hello Neville.”
