“Sometimes I feel like I’ve just gone in a circle,” Draco concludes, idly watching as clouds drift above him in the sky. Harry’s Warming Charm, and a thick wooden rug, are keeping the chill at bay, but he should really go in and join Harry in the kitchen.
He doesn’t though, just keeps lying out in the autumn garden, tracing clouds as Luna sits on the garden swing, the groaning of its ropes punctuating the stillness as she swings back and forth.
“But the circle isn’t in the same place as before,” Luna points out, practical as always. It’s true.
