Harry halted his pacing with an effort of will. "I've become a cliché," he muttered. "Expectant father pacing the floor."
In an effort to redirect his nervous energy, Harry began to clean. He tackled the task like his Aunt Petunia had taught him. All elbow grease and manual labor; no magic allowed. Harry hoovered the lounge, he dusted every wooden surface in the house, and he even washed dishes the Muggle way.
Once the house was thoroughly cleaned, Harry slumped onto the sofa.
AJ wailed from the nursery.
Harry heaved himself to his feet and went to tend his son.
