Potter nodded slowly, and Draco felt the tension leave his shoulders.
Potter cleared his throat, his eyes on Livvie. "How are you feeling?" he asked, voice gruff.
Draco was surprised, but he recovered quickly and replied, "I'm tired. I expect you understand."
"Yeah," said Potter. "The first few days are the roughest. May I hold Livvie?"
Draco's initial instinct was to clutch his baby to his chest. He didn't want to share her with anyone, not even his mum. He mentally chastised himself for being ridiculous. Livvie was Potter's daughter, too, and it was important that he bond with her.
