After his mother left, Draco sat in the lounge rocking Livvie while Potter played with AJ on the floor. Livvie was on the verge of falling asleep, and AJ giggled and waved a toy about.
If only life could be that simple for adults. Instead, Draco was fretting over how to broach the subject of what he'd overheard without seeming like an eavesdropper.
Potter picked up the rattle AJ had tossed and handed it back to him. He glanced at Draco and said, "I don't know what has your knickers in a knot, but you may as well speak up."
