Summary: A time for quiet reflection
Harry was settled back in the reclining armchair with AJ snoozing on his chest. Across from him, Malfoy was seated on the sofa with a dozing Livvie in his arms. Harry’s eyes were growing heavy. If he didn’t get up soon, he’d probably fall asleep here, but he couldn’t muster the energy to care.
“Thank you.”
Harry blinked his eyes open. “Hm?”
“Because of you,” said Malfoy, “our children won’t have to live in fear, like we did growing up.”
“I didn’t accomplish anything alone,” Harry felt compelled to say. “Don’t discount your mother’s contribution, for instance, nor your own.”
