Draco finished his tea and pushed his chair back. "I need to speak to Potter," he said. "I reckon the sooner I tell him the news, the sooner he can tell me how much I've ruined his life."
"Stay a little longer," his mother implored. "Together, we can strategize how best to break the news to Harry. Both of you need to avoid stress as much as possible."
"It's too late for that," Draco said wryly. "I've been on the verge of a panic attack since I left Bones' office."
"Draco!" gasped Narcissa.
"Relax, mum," said Draco. "I'm exaggerating. Mostly."
