Draco led the way to a seldom-used study. It was quiet and cozy, and they could converse there without distraction or interruption. The house-elves had left a tray of tea and nibbles for them. Draco invited Potter to sit, and then he took a seat across the small table from him. Draco poured tea and gestured to the food.
"Would you like a biscuit?" he asked. "They were made fresh this morning."
Potter thanked him and selected a biscuit.
They shared tea in strained silence, while Draco tried to figure out how to start a conversation without starting a row.
