Potter broke the silence, "How are you feeling?"
An automatic reply of 'Fine' hovered on the tip of Draco's tongue, but he opted for honesty. "I'm sick most mornings, I have trouble keeping food down, and I'm tired all the time."
"Welcome to pregnancy."
Draco channeled his aggravation into stirring his tea. Instead of assuming Potter was needling him, he used the comment to direct the conversation. "Did you feel that way while you carried AJ?"
"Yes, and I had the added stress of being pressured into marriage."
Draco gained a new appreciation of just what he'd subjected Potter to.
