Summary: Draco gets an earful.
Draco met Potter's angry glare without backing down. "I won't apologize for what I did," he said. "I understand how you feel, but I did what I thought was best for my family."
"I don't think you do understand how I feel," Potter bit out. "You see, Malfoy, all while I was growing up, I had to do what everyone else wanted me to do, from my horrid relatives, to the Ministry, and even old Dumbledore. Once I fulfilled my part in that bloody prophecy, I wanted to put the past behind me and live my life how I wanted.
"Becoming a father so soon wasn't in my plans, but I could deal with that," Potter added. "What I can't condone is that, once again, I was forced to do something I didn't want to for someone else. Do you understand that?"
Draco's shoulders drooped. "You weren't the only one who was forced to do things you didn't want to as a child," he said. Draco took a sip of tea and continued. "Look, Potter. We have a baby, and we're going to have another one soon. Can we not try to put the past behind us for their sake?"
