"I'm going to check on AJ," Potter announced. He left the room, closing the door quietly behind him.
Draco was convinced that Potter was just giving him a moment to collect himself. That seemed generous of him, considering that Potter believed Draco had ruined his life. Draco sniffled again and thought about their row. In a moment of brutal honesty, he was forced to admit he'd never considered Potter's aspirations when pushing for marriage. All Draco had focused on was gaining a legitimate heir. Now he had a second heir on the way and a husband who hated him.
