It didn't take long for Draco's mother to bustle into the parlor. "Is everything alright?" she asked.

"Relax, Mum. Everything is brilliant."

Narcissa frowned at him. "Harry didn't look any happier than you do. Have you been quarreling?"

Draco sighed and let his head fall back. "Yes, we argued," he replied. "He's angry and bitter and probably rues the day we met."

Narcissa sat down across from Draco. "The two of you need to put the past to rest," she advised. "It's time to look to the future, not just for yourselves, but for your children."

"I know that, Mum."
