"I'll think about it." Potter's expression appeared strained as he agreed to consider Draco's suggestion.
Draco wanted to begin making plans, but he knew he'd pushed as far as he could for one night. Best to give Potter a chance to regroup.
Potter turned his head to gaze at the darkness through the window. "I didn't realize it hurt you to be apart from AJ." It sounded as if the admission cost him.
"It surprises me, too," said Draco. "I never thought I could love someone so much, but from the first moment I saw AJ, I was a goner."
