The following day, Draco went to see Susan Bones again. After performing some diagnostic spells, she told him his symptoms were on target for his stage of pregnancy.
"Would you like to know the baby's gender?" she asked.
Draco's heart leaped in excitement, but he immediately tamped it down. "I would, but I reckon I should ask Potter if he would like to be involved."
Bones raised her brows, but she refrained from commenting on his use of his spouse's surname. "I understand," she said. "Let me know if you and Harry wish to schedule an appointment to find out."
