Draco unbuttoned his shirt and lay back. Bones stepped up to him and waved her wand over his stomach in a complicated pattern. She nodded once and smiled.
On the other side of Draco, Potter leaned forward, eyes bright with excitement. Draco was pleased to see that Potter was taking an interest in the baby. It gave him hope for the future.
"Good news," chirped Bones. "It's a girl!"
Draco hadn't cared one way or the other, but beside him, he heard Potter suck in a surprised breath. Even more surprising, when Potter exhaled, it sounded like he whispered, "Lily."
