The house wasn't furnished, but Harry found a window seat where he settled with AJ to await Malfoy's return. By the time Malfoy came back, AJ was beginning to fuss.

"I can see why you chose this house," said Malfoy. "Separate wings, virtually separate lives, yeah?"

Harry didn't deny it, but he went for a redirection. "It's in a prime location, and the real estate itself is valuable, never mind the house."

"You intend to buy it, with or without my blessing?"

Harry's jaw tightened. "Yes."

Malfoy nodded once. "Very well. Am I still welcome to live here with you?"
