Harry kept his voice neutral. "I've made my position on Parkinson clear," he said. "I'd rather not discuss it again, as it will only lead to a row."
Malfoy took a deep breath and nodded. He offered Harry a small smile. "Quarreling is normal for us," he said. "It's the civilized conversation we need to work at."
"Yeah," Harry muttered, not sure what else to say. Malfoy was right--they were far more accustomed to arguing with one another.
"Splendid," Malfoy chirped with what looked like forced cheer. "I'll just nip on home and see if Mum can join us."
