Harry snapped awake. Weak sunshine illuminated his new bedroom. He heard a noise from downstairs. Harry bolted from bed and checked on the baby. AJ was sleeping, having been fed and changed a mere two hours earlier.
Grabbing his wand, Harry made his way down the steps. His jaw sagged when he discovered Malfoy in the kitchen.
"Good morning, Potter," Malfoy greeted him. "I was feeling peckish and decided to raid the pantry. I've discovered we need groceries." Belatedly, he noticed the wand in Harry's hand. "Planning to hex me, were you?"
Harry slumped into a chair. "You startled me."
