"I see," said Malfoy. "Do I need to request your permission to come here?"
His dispirited demeanor left Harry feeling like a heel. "No, of course not," he replied. "I'm just not used to sharing a home, and I was alarmed when I heard you in the kitchen."
"That's understandable," said Malfoy. He turned away and rummaged through the fridge, coming up with a dozen eggs and a chunk of cheese. "How about an omelet and some honesty? You don't want me here, do you?"
Harry tried to keep things calm. "I think that's something I need to work on."
