Harry hoped his disappointment didn't show on his face. Putting AJ to bed at night was one of his favorite rituals.
"That's fine," he said to Malfoy. "I'll go check on him now."
Malfoy nodded and turned, heading in the direction of his own suite. Harry relaxed once he was alone again. He wondered if this would ever become normal or routine. Did he want to watch one day bleed into another, while he and Malfoy carried on with forced civility? Harry didn't fancy living his life that way, but he didn't know how to change without upsetting their truce.
