“I reckoned there was a secret to your huge detention numbers,” Draco said, clearly pretending disapproval.

“What can I say,” Harry demurred. “I’m lazy. Student labour is cheap.”

Draco laughed out loud. “Shameless! Blatant!” His eyes flashed warmth. “I thought you were an honest Gryffindor with a pure heart, Mr Potter.”

Harry leaned forward. “Would a pure Gryffindor be doing all this self-denigration at your expense?”

“Good point. You want in my arse pretty bad, don’t you?” Draco said. His voice was stern but his eyes were crinkling.

“Best arse for at least a hundred miles,” Harry said, sounding confident.

“Flattery usually works well for you, hmm?” Draco said, drifting closer.

“Beautiful men are easy to flatter,” Harry said. He let his eyes traverse Draco head to arse.

“Pfsshh.” Draco tossed his hair. “What if I like subtle? You’re so… blatant.”

“You already called me that,” Harry teased. “Where’s that posh vocabulary?

“Maybe I’m better with actions nowadays.”

Harry tried to raise one eyebrow.

Draco laughed, just a bit.

“That bad?” Harry said.

“I expect there are things you do better,” Draco said, drifting towards Hogwarts.

“Indeed,” Harry said, smiling with all his teeth. “Shall we learn what they are?”
