Authors Notes: Title from (always as if as if the bird always. Things have come up so I’ve been slightly delayed but I hope to catch up soon!
“Come on,” Harry says, laughing. “It’ll be fun.” He tugs on Draco’s arm, but Draco refuses to budge, curled up in the window seat.
“I’m comfortable,” he says, setting his chin. Harry wrinkles his nose.
“The Giant Squid is probably more festive than you, today,” he points out. Draco just shrugs.
Harry ends up draping garlands and fairy lights over the trees in the back garden by himself, but it’s still nice. An unexpected bird surprises him with a chirped hello, and Draco is waiting, warm, just inside. When he finally finished, turning on the lights, it’s completely worth it.
