Malfoy didn't return to the house until evening. He appeared pale and drawn.

"How's your mum?" asked Harry, his attention on the spell he was using to wash dishes.

"Much better, thank you," replied Malfoy. He slumped into a chair at the kitchen table.

"Do you feel well? You don't look good."

"Shall I try pinching my cheeks to add some color to them?"

"There's no need to be flip," Harry snapped. "You have to take care of yourself for the baby's sake."

"I already have a mother, so spare me the lecture."

"How terribly rude of me to care!"
