Harry went rigid, although he continued stirring the pasta. He was glad Malfoy couldn't see his face. Harry cleared his throat. "Jealous?" he repeated. "Of what?"
"You had an entire afternoon to faff about and enjoy yourself," said Malfoy. Despite his words, there was no rebuke in his voice. "I'm no longer comfortable going out. I reckon we don't realize how precious such carefree hours are until they're gone."
Harry nearly wilted with relief. He carried the pot to the sink and drained the pasta. "Take your mum to Madam Puddifoot's some afternoon," he suggested.
"I might do that, Potter."
