Draco returned home in a somber mood. He knew his mum's advice was sound, but he wasn't sure he wanted to prod Potter's temper, at least no time soon. Draco heard AJ fussing immediately after he exited the Floo.
Potter, looking frazzled, swept into the parlor and handed the baby off. "Here, he's grizzling and I haven't been able to start dinner yet." Potter exited as rapidly as he'd entered, leaving Draco holding a grumpy AJ.
They looked at one another from close range. Draco patted AJ's back and sighed. "Well, it wasn't a serious discussion, but it's still progress."
