Summary: Draco subconsciously shifts his priorities.
Draco was flying, soaring after the Snitch. The golden ball was within his grasp; he only had to reach for it. Potter was catching up, but he was too far behind. This time, Draco would emerge the winner.
Only...besting Potter seemed less important than before. Draco slowed a fraction, allowing Potter to draw even with him. As one, they reached for the Snitch, their hands closing on it together.
Potter grinned at him. "We did it-"
"Malfoy."
Draco started awake, automatically tightening his grip on AJ, who slept in his arms. He glanced up at Potter.
"Dinner is ready."
