Another member of the Wizengamut stood up. "Thank you, Gertrude," he said. "I believe Mr Potter and Mr Malfoy are now suitably chastised. Shall we get on with the hearing?"
Gertrude nodded and adjusted her hat once more. She looked at Malfoy and his solicitor and said, "Mr Higgins, you may present your case first." Gertrude turned to Harry and his solicitor and added, "Mrs Brookhollow, your rebuttal will follow. Is that acceptable?"
"Yes, it is, Mrs Munk," Harry's solicitor replied.
Gertrude took her seat, and Malfoy's solicitor stood and strode to the center of the chamber.
Harry swallowed heavily.
