The next day, Draco found himself feeling torn. He was looking forward to seeing Pansy again. It had been far too long since he'd gone out and done something solely for fun. On the other hand, he could all but feel the tension vibrating off of Potter.
Draco donned his cloak and met Potter's eyes. "It's tea," he said. "I won't be gone long."
Potter's jaw tightened, but all he said was, "Be aware and remain vigilant."
Draco wanted to say something flip, but he didn't dare stoke Potter's simmering temper. He simply nodded, drew his wand, and Apparated away.
