Harry nods, polite. “It’s a long story,” he hisses. The little snake tilts its head to the side, examining him thoughtfully.
“I see,” it finally says. “The quiet one was correct.”
“Right about what?” Harry hisses, then looks up to ask Draco. “What where you telling it?”
Draco’s stilling looking at both of them, clearly intrigued. “Just that you’re a Parselmouth, and you’re interesting.” He gestures widely, wincing as his hand collide with the corner of one of his own books, a tome on Grindelwald that has no business being in the kitchen.
“You’re one to talk,” Harry says, laughing.
