After his restless night, Harry ends up sinking into a mid-morning nap on the couch. Draco drapes a blanket over him and retreats to the armchair, barely acknowledging the pretence of his papers, abandoned on the side table.
Draco’s not sure what the nightmare was about this time, the unpleasant sort of mystery that nonetheless makes itself at home, an uneasy houseguest that’s overstayed its welcome.
Harry sleeps until almost noon, stirring when Draco returns after a brief foray into the kitchen to pull together a small lunch.
“Whe–what?” he mumbles. Draco sets the tray on the sideboard, fond.
