"You must be exhausted," said Potter, changing the subject abruptly.
"I am, yes," Draco admitted. Voicing the confession seemed to give his exhaustion a life of its own, and he stifled a yawn.
"Are you able to climb the stairs?" Potter asked. "I'll carry the baby."
Draco nodded and turned to trudge up the staircase. His mum met him at the doorway to his suite.
"Go lie down, Draco," she insisted. "Harry and I will get Livvie settled."
Draco frowned. "What if she needs me?"
"You'll hear her if she cries," his mum assured him. "Sleep, darling. You look exhausted."
