Summary: Draco focuses on what's important.
Potter left without saying another word, and Draco's shoulders slumped. He wallowed in dejection for a moment before raising his chin. Draco refused to allow Potter to affect him like that, although his husband's fickle mood swings were enough to make anyone go mad. One moment Potter was solicitous, and the next he was bitter and angry again.
Draco had no control over that, so he decided to concentrate on what he could do. Right now, that meant tending to his infant daughter. Draco began to gently rock, humming a lullaby under his breath as he coaxed Livvie into sleep.
