Once Mrs Weasley left, Draco settled at the table in the kitchen to eat one of the muffins she had left for them. Potter sat across from him, feeding Livvie a bottle.
“It was kind of Mrs Weasley to bring us food,” Draco said, breaking the awkward silence. “She’s an excellent cook.”
“She’s had decades of practice,” Potter said in response. He set Livvie’s bottle on the table and shifted her to his shoulder.
Draco cleared his throat. “Would you teach me? How to cook, that is,” he blurted. “I can do simple things, but I’d like to learn more.”
